Lobbying:

On a wide range of issues, individual members of the Network do their own lobbying whether it be of their local MP, council or in the media.

Our communications network will be used, where appropriate, to canvas the views of member organisations, or their own members, on relevant issues, and we may, if the circumstances are right, present a joint view.

The Network drew up a joint response to the Oxfordshire Economic Partnership's draft economic strategy. Our joint submission was signed by a leading member of each of our member organisations.

The Oxfordshire Town Chambers Network is also building a Network of groups to link together the individuals or businesses that are interested and involved in tackling some of the key issues facing our towns.

If you are a member of one of our member organisations and would like to be involved in one of these Networks or would value connecting with colleagues in other towns on another issue, please let us know.
