The OTCN Network If one phrase sums up what OTCN is working to achieve, it is: "Promoting business in Oxfordshire" Together with the very largely volunteer leaders of our member groups and events networks, we have created a dynamic, two-way communications channel for business. In our work on partnership building and town centre vitality (one of our core areas), we have adopted a number of other phrases... Those of you involved in partnership working might like Henry Ford's: "Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success." ... and Richard Branson's: "You can spot negative people and stultifying institutions a mile off. Have the courage of your convictions, and ignore them!" ... and when you meet a reluctance to do something for fear of failure, try this: "Just because it's not perfect, doesn't mean it's not better." A full listing of our member groups is available on our Member Organisations page. Some are called Chambers; others have taken a different name. Each operates its own organisation in the way its own members choose. The Network is about connecting those organisations where there is benefit, and involving individual businesses who support our principles via NetworkB (see www.otcn.co.uk/networkb).
