PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE Liability Insurance might once have been considered a bit of a luxury: an extravagance. In this day and age, it has definitely become a necessity. Every individual becomes personably responsible for his or her actions - and in a group or club environment, every individual can be accountable for the other members of the group as well. The cost of Liability Insurance is, generally speaking, quite affordable. However, the cost of issuing a policy can often add up to a significant proportion of the policy cost: particularly when the premium is low. To overcome this, Bordengate Insurance (Faringdon) has arranged with Zurich, a policy to include any Chamber of Commerce or Community based activity (with some exceptions, e.g. firework parties) within Oxfordshire. The indemnity limit provided is £5,000,000: enough to satisfy the demands of most local authorities. The cost for each group varies according to the number of members, and the number & the type of events and activities undertaken. To obtain a quotation, we will need to know:
