Building on its experience of working in Oxfordshire's towns (as well as
in Oxford city, its urban centres and some of the county's larger
villages), OTCN Ltd has developed a strong portfolio of projects that
work.
Initiatives and ideas that (with support from our volunteer members and
funding partners) we have piloted, tested and improved, and are making a
difference.
We are committed to rolling these projects out, to share the benefits
with businesses and the community in other towns.
They all have a cost, but in each case we can demonstrate the benefits
and we have developed ways to help you identify and attract funding
support.
We are adding to this section all of the time. As well as those projects
featured below, our portfolio includes:
'Writing fund-winning bids' - to help you if putting a bid together
is not a core skill. For more information, please click
here.
'Tomorrow's history, today' - a creative way to profile the
characters behind our independent traders. For more information, please click
here.
'Your business in focus' - a pioneering one-to-one diagnostic to
help independent traders examine the key issues and skills in their
businesses, with a spin-off benefit for the town
'Group Treasurer services and administration' - For
more information, please click
here.
'How to ...' - or more accurately 'How we ...'
drawing on the
experience of our volunteer member groups in developing
vitality-boosting projects. OTCN Ltd can put an experienced and creative
team in place to help you deliver a shoppers guide,
plastic-bag-free-town and prize draw promotions campaign.

Introducing 'Wishy - the human postbox'
Our 6ft tall, smiling human postbox is a fun way to add character to your
event.
A pioneering OTCN project taking customer service training into a local secondary school. It gives young people a
grounding in a key business skill, gets their perspective on how customer service works in shops in their town
and engages the local business community to judge a presentation of their findings and present the prizes.
A project to bring together business, local councils, schools and the
community to transform tired public spaces in your city, town or village
through design, planting and landscaping.
