 www.retrader.org.uk is a new free web service that provides businesses and other organisations with an innovative waste management resource. The service allows your business or organisation to pass on materials you no longer need and get pre-used materials from others. How to join Retrader Find out what’s on offer and/or log your re-usable material for others to see at www.retrader.org.uk. The first time you go there you’ll need to register. Please type OTCN into section 13 which asks how you heard about the service. Retrader helps your business to reduce waste disposal costs and improve its social and environmental performance. There are a range of different categories of items and materials that can be exchanged, from batteries to paper and furniture to paint and pallets.  A service for Oxfordshire business, part of a national network The service is hosted and supported by Oxfordshire Waste Partnership and is open to all Oxfordshire businesses, charities, community groups and voluntary organisations. Retrader is a new extension to an already established network which has saved businesses over £1.5million on waste disposal/procurement costs - giving others access to thousands of tonnes of valuable goods that would otherwise end up in landfill. |
