A series of new factsheets has been published to answer questions Oxfordshire businesses have raised on skills issues.
They’re one of the outcomes of a survey initiative OTCN worked on with the county’s Business and Skills Bureau, on behalf of the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
We asked:
- What are the barriers to growth for your business?
- How do skills and recruitment issues affect you?
Through a combination of face-to-face discussion at business networking events in Oxfordshire and questionnaire feedback,
we asked for the views of businesspeople on these key issues.
The factsheets were a response to calls during that process for more information. There are currently factsheets called:
- Apprenticeships information for employers
- Military Service Leavers’ information for employers
- Work Experience information for employers
...and you can download them for free from
http://www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/cms/content/business-and-skills-bureau.
To continue to capture vital data from Oxfordshire businesses who’d not been involved in phase one, a new survey is now available via
https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BSBESSN1.
Please take a few moments to contribute the perspective of your Oxfordshire business.
